In Chapri village, young Rajni and her friend Mehak faced a tragedy that shook their lives. While returning from Gadhwa, the two friends were kidnapped and subjected to terrible abuse. They were moved from place to place until the Barwadih police successfully rescued them. The accused were soon arrested and sent to jail.
In the days that followed, the girls struggled to recover emotionally. It was during this difficult time that Aarti Didi, a counsellor from the VEDIC Society, reached out to them with compassion and support, helping them regain confidence and stability. Soon after, Pankaj Bhaiya, another worker from the organization, visited Rajni’s family when reports emerged that relatives of the accused were pressuring them to withdraw the case in exchange for money.
Pankaj Bhaiya courageously explained to the family that accepting such an offer would deny justice—not only for their daughters but for countless others. His words strengthened their resolve. Rajni and her parents stood firm, choosing justice over compromise.
Today, Rajni and her family speak with determination. They are grateful to the VEDIC Society for standing beside them and ensuring that their voices were heard. Their courage has inspired others in the village to speak up against exploitation and seek justice without fear.
